Good news! CLC vote for a public consultation

At the CLC meeting, 4 September 2013, the councillors voted unanimously in favour of progressing to a full public consultation on 20 mph limits on residential roads in Worthing.

This is great news! We now need to work hard to make sure every household understands the benefits of 20 mph speed limits on residential streets, so they can make an informed decision.

If you can help with any of the following, please email:

1. Offer to deliver leaflets – there are still hundreds of roads in Worthing which haven’t had a leaflet
2. Identify groups who would like a meeting/presentation to discuss 20’s Plenty – community groups / residents associations / schools / businesses etc.
3. Talk to friends and neighbours about 20 mph speed limits – if they have questions you can’t answer, get in touch or check our FAQ section of the website
